If you love an adrenaline rush you have the adventure playground that is the Peak District National Park on your doorstep. Local activities include; rock climbing, horse riding, quad biking, caving, canoeing, mountain biking to mention just a few. You can visit Madrenaline Activity Centre while Alton Towers resort is a short drive away.
If you prefer something a little gentler, how about enjoying the stunning scenery with walks right from the front door, or mooching around the charming local independent shops, tea rooms and restaurants in the towns of Asbourne, Buxton and Leek?
Activities at Hamps Hall and Barn
Of course, you don’t even have to leave Hamps Hall & Barn to have fun. My Event Concierge can even bring archery, clay pigeon shooting, etc directly to you and your guests at Hamps Hall & Barn. Enjoy a murder mystery night, a casino evening, life drawing classes, or even your own pamper day where trained therapists bring their spa treatments to you!
You’ll find 2x 5 person lovely warm hot tubs at Hamps also!
The 50-foot long barn room in Hamps Barn is a great place to dance while Hamps Hall also has a games room with table tennis and table football for anyone feeling competitive. There are a couple of snug rooms, one lined with books, the other with an Xbox for a games fest!
Please note we don’t allow external speakers, but we have our own amazing music surround sound system DJ’s can connect to.
Space and Activities for All
There are 2 kitchen and 2 dining rooms with space for everyone to dine together in one room. For ultimate flexibility, you can self cater (Bake Off competition anyone?), enjoy a BBQ with outside seating for all, have takeaways delivered, grab a meal at our local pub. You can also hire in a professional chef and waiters to serve you your choice of fabulous fine dining. The best part – no driving home from a restaurant, no early closing, no expensive alcohol bills – you bring your own at off-licence prices instead!
We appreciate that budgets can be variable for many friends, so you can all have a great time without worrying about asking them to break the bank!
Easily Accessible Venue
Hamps Hall & Barn is centrally located in the heart of the UK. Stoke Station is about 30 minutes drive – then just 90 minutes to London Euston. Manchester, Derby, Sheffield etc are all less than a 90-minute drive too, so it is easy to reach for many if you don’t want to waste your precious weekend travelling!
